Follett Titlewave is a resource recommended by the district to order library books, ebooks and audio books. Your school should have a Titlewave account. After you log-in, there are several things you can do:
1) Create a book order
Create a list for ordering. Consider creating separate lists for separate funding--i.e. you would probably want to have a unique list for legislative spending or a grant
Select books, ebooks and audio books to add to the list using the reviews provided by Titlewave
If you have done a recent collection analysis, Titlewave will help you to not select duplicate titles by showing you titles that match those already in your collection
After your book list is complete, print the book list for your records and also save the list so you can attach it to your Skyward order
2) After you receive an order, you can download the records for your order from Titlewave
Click on "Order History" on right-hand side of page, then click on MARC Downloads.
Click on Download MARC which will download the records to your hard drive (usually to the Desktop or the Downloads folder)
You can then go to Destiny and import the records
3) Follett Titlewave also provides a collection analysis tool that is very helpful
Click on "Your Account" on right-hand side of page, then click on Titlewise Analyses to see Analyses performed in the past
To begin a new Titlewave Analysis, go to Destiny and click on Titlewave, then click on Upload your collection for Analysis--Submit. This will import your collection records into Titlewave for Analysis, and it takes a little time to upload.
